Our first RAAW Workshop of the summer was Glowing Panes, led by local stained glass artist Anna Miccolis. Miccolis taught students the basics of stained glass and assisted in the creation of some seriously creative and unique pieces.
London based artist James Kirkpatrick led, 'Sculpting Sound,' where participants learned how to circuit-bend common childhood toys to create their own sound sculptures.
Through our 'RAAW Elements' workshop, led by artist Russell Bonin, participants learned all about the fast, furious fun of en plein air painting in and around our community.
In 'Layering Up: Video Editing with Ian Alexander,' RAAW students created their own video using the JNAAG MacBook Pro's, camcorders, and green screen chromakey processes.
Visiting artist José-Gabriel (aka KIZMET) led a graffiti based workshop where students were able to design and create a large scale mural in downtown Sarnia. How cool is that?!
