Over the past few days, Laura and Ian have been busy preparing for the installation of two generative pieces that will be on display in the second floor alcove and on the large scale projection screens in the lobby.
Entitled <building>
147 Lochiel , both installations feature spheres that are in constant motion, revealing new colours and patterns in their movement. As a result of the works' continually generative nature, the possible colour and shape combinations are essentially infinite.
Alcove Installations:
Instant Places in the process of testing how the installations will appear on screen.
A view of the second floor alcove, beside the reception desk where the three pieces will be on display.
The installation will be viewed on three large TV screens.
Lobby Installation:
The second installation will be screened in the lobby of the gallery, on two large projection screens that are visible from the street. Both installations will be on display until February 22.
Laura and Ian hope to have the piece installed in the lobby in time for tomorrows live broadcast of Art's Birthday. Stay tuned for more information about Art's Birthday events.

A thing used to project rays of light, esp. an equipment with a system of lenses for projecting slides or film onto a monitor. It provides big resolution of a picture and entertains us. I think we need to bring more ideas for this purpose. Thanks
