Be a part of the biggest, most action-packed art event of the year! It's the Second Annual Painters SMACKDOWN, in support of the Judith & Norman ALIX Art Gallery, taking place this First Friday!!

On November 2nd, from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm, watch fabulous local painters live in action in the gallery spaces, as they duke it out to create a one of a kind canvas. Participating artists include: Ariel Lyons, Ian McLean, Bill Walters, Judy Brady, Peg Kivi, Ghada Mekki, Nakita McInnes, Karen Dickson and Kathy Rath.

Come cheer on YOUR favourite competitor! Admission to catch all of the action is free, but be sure to buy a ticket in support of the capital campaign, and have a chance to win an original (still wet) painting! Tickets are available at the door. Do not miss the action!
