Join us for the opening of the new exhibition, James Kirkpatrick: Sculpting Sound, on view until March 31. London-based Kirkpatrick, also known for his participation in the early Canadian graffiti movement and as avant-garde hip-hop artist Thesis Sahib, works in a variety of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, zines, mask-making, and experimental sound improvisation.

In Sculpting Sound, five recent sound sculptures are on display and ready for you to see and play like musical instruments. The artist will be present for First Friday and will be giving an artist talk and demonstration on Thursday, March 14 at 7:00pm. Kirkpatrick is represented by Michael Gibson Gallery in London, ON.

While at the gallery, explore Fluid Explorations, and M.C. Escher: The Mathemagician, organized by the National Gallery of Canada and the Art Gallery of Alberta, on view until April 21. For more information about our Current Exhibitions CLICK HERE
