Calling All Artists!! JNAAG Juried Art Show


JNAAG invites artists working in all media to submit to our Juried Art Show, May 18 - September 8, 2013. With a stellar jury panel and substantial cash awards, the show promises to showcase the best of contemporary art being produced in southwestern Ontario.

Entry is open to all artists residing in the areas between Sarnia, Windsor, Niagara Falls, Hamilton, Guelph and Owen Sound. All works must be original, completed in the last 12 months, and not previously shown in Lambton County.

Three jurors have been selected for the inaugural show: Ivan Jurakic, Director / Curator, University of Waterloo Art Gallery; John Kissick, Artist and Director, School of Fine Art and Music, College of Arts, University of Guelph; and Dolleen Manning, Artist and PhD Candidate, Centre for Theory and Criticism, University of Western Ontario.

Cash awards totalling $3,000 ($1,500 first prize; $1,000 second prize; $500 third prize) will be presented at the exhibition opening on Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. and an artist fee will be paid to each artist selected for the exhibition.
